COOL DOWN THE EARTH

Climate change threatens people with food and water scarcity, increased flooding, extreme heat, more diseases, and economic loss. To fight this threat, we need to reduce our carbon footprint and cool down the earth. The Paris Agreement’s long-term temperature goal is to keep the rise of global temperature below 2 °C, and preferably limited to 1.5 °C, reducing then substantially the effects of climate change. The CO2 emissions should be lowered as soon as possible and reach net-zero by the mid-21st century. Indeed, in order to stay below 1.5 °C, the emissions need to be cut by roughly 55% by 2030. The aim of this  study is to identify the viability and business potential of our proprietary carbon capture and utilization technology to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while producing valuable products.

It provides a high-level financial insight over the whole value chain, ranging from capturing GHG emissions up to the production of added-value products. This revenue stream allows amortizing the costs of the technology in a specific time frame.
